Today, I went for a wild walk along the coast from Mergellina in Naples. The bay is lined with huge rocks bleached white by the sun and the sea slaps and glugs happily around them.
Some rocks are decorated with pink seaweed, others adorned with sunbathers. Whilst leaping from rock to rock, I noticed that a few had the imprints of fossilised shells on them! We also discovered several large (compared to English) crabs scuttling along, many little fish and a gecko sunning itself on a rock.
Here is a really pixelated photo of one crab I climbed down to reach!
